Why We Fundraise
Community support has helped fund equipment such as thermal imaging cameras, ventilation fans and other training and response items. These investments improve firefighter safety and our ability to respond effectively when the community needs us.
Firefighter cancer-risk reduction is also a continuing priority. Cleaning contaminated turnout gear and getting it properly dried and returned to service is one part of reducing unnecessary exposure after fires and training burns.
