Sometimes a power point just doesn’t cut it (pun intended). Tonight we performed a little saw and ventilation training with our team (and guest from West Peoria Fire).
Thanks to Maddox’s Construction Ltd. of Pekin for donating the time and materials to build us a roof prop for tonight’s training, donations like these help us complete valuable hands on training with our team.
Tonight members worked on pumping up their skills with water ops. For new members this meant deployment and operations of portable water supplies, while experienced staff worked with pump operations.
Over the course of their probationary period new members will obtain over 180 hours of book and hands on training in various medical and fire subjects.
